The Fainting Goat focuses on simple, delicious dishes crafted with love and care. They prioritize fresh, local ingredients from the Pacific Northwest, including seasonal produce, sustainable meat, and seafood, to offer a dining experience that is both laid-back and vibrant. Chef and Owner Sophia Boesenberg, originally from Okanogan County, brings global flavors to her menu, drawing from her experiences living abroad while remaining rooted in the tastes of the PNW. Having returned to her hometown with her family, she enjoys reconnecting with the local farmers and growers she knew growing up. The Fainting Goat is situated just outside downtown Winthrop offering views of the Spring Creek suspension bridge and Homestream park, along with convenient parking, allowing guests to focus on enjoying the food and the experience.
