Hillary Ketcham
President

Hillary is a talented individual born and raised in the Methow Valley. As the owner of The Thrifty Fox and co-owner of 3rd Avenue Salon, Hillary possesses a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a knack for creating successful businesses while making them as fun as possible. One of Hillary's passions lies in creating art out of recycled materials. With a keen eye for creativity and a commitment to sustainability, Hillary transforms discarded items into stunning artworks, showcasing the beauty that can be found in reusing and repurposing materials at the local Trashion Show. Beyond their artistic endeavors, Hillary is deeply passionate about their hometown of Twisp, WA. They are dedicated to promoting the unique charm and rich culture of the community, whether through supporting local businesses or actively participating in community events.
Cari Honsinger
Vice President

Cari Honsinger is the co-owner of RYZO Wines and RYZO Tasting Room on Glover Street in downtown Twisp. A Washington native, Cari grew up coming to a rustic family cabin outside of Twisp as a child.
Cari majored in English at Westmont College in Santa Barbara and has a background in education, the non-profit sector, and personal training. She moved to the Methow Valley in 2021 with her husband Chad, a Liberty Bell and Methow Valley Nordic ski team alum, and their two daughters.
Fun fact: Cari's mom came from the Bay Area to work a summer for the Forest Service in Twisp in the late 1970s, at the site where TwispWorks now stands. In her free time, Cari enjoys trail running, skiing, and adventuring with her family, friends, and sweet mini-Aussie.
Jeff Palmberg
Secretary

Jeff Palmberg, serves as the Secretary of the Twisp Chamber of Commerce.
He is the dedicated and compassionate Pastor of the Community Covenant Church in Twisp.
Besides his work with the church and chamber, Jeff is a talented caricature artist, husband to Tami, and father of two adult children who live in the Portland, OR, area.

Jeff loves laughing, coffee, walks, trying new things and the Methow Valley Community!
Sandy Moody
Board Member

Sandy has been involved with the Twisp Chamber of Commerce for many years to help promote the great town of Twisp and has been a part of the Methow Valley community for over 50 years.
As an educator, Sandy developed a nationally recognized school-to-work program titled “Methow Valley as a Classroom.”
Sandy and her husband own and operate a charming local lodging establishment in the heart of Twisp. Methow Suites Bed and Breakfast offers a cozy getaway featuring home-cooked breakfasts prepared by Sandy. Both Sandy and her husband Bill are active members of the community, When Sandy is not busy hosting travelers, you can find her out on the trails skiing and hiking.
Casey Bouchard
Board Member

Casey is the proud owner of two iconic businesses in the Methow Valley, River Pines Inn and WasteWise Methow. Casey's first job was working the scales at his parents aluminum recycling yard. Ever since, he has had a passion for reuse, recycling and environmental stewardship. Since 2009 he has been following that passion in the Methow.
He finds joy and purpose in sharing the beauty of the valley with visitors at his lodging establishment as well as supporting locals through environmentally conscious waste management. Introducing guests to these incredible environments and supporting the vibrant communities that call this area “home” are a priority and privilege for him.
Sarah Jo Lightner
Board Member

Sarah Jo was born in Missouri and raised in Nebraska, She studied agricultural economics at the University of Nebraska and silversmithing at Oregon College of Arts and Craft. She then worked in the restaurant business for 23 years, with 12 of those spent in Portland Oregon running her own Creole restaurant, Acadia Bistro. She moved to the Methow Valley in 2010 and built a silversmithing studio and became the mom of twin girls. Before joining the Methow Recycles family in 2021, she worked at the Confluence Gallery for six years, and was as the Executive Director there for three. She is now the Executive Director at Methow Arts, on the board of directors for the Twisp Creative District, and is a partner at the Methow Valley Jeweler's Collective.
Fun Fact: Sarah Jo has been to 83 Phish shows and counting!
Tim Matsui
Town Council Representative

Tim is a photojournalist and filmmaker with expertise in trauma, victimization and human trafficking. He has often crossed political, economic, ideological, and social bounds to understand and accurately report stories. He is a nonprofit founder, impact producer, community educator and organizer, speaker and collaborator who has created programmatic and policy change addressing human trafficking nationwide. Through this, he has worked extensively with social services, law enforcement, policy makers, and the judiciary.
Tim believes we all deserve to experience what the Methow and our community have to offer. Finding the right balance to ensure we can all prosper, in the various ways we define prosperity, is his motivation for serving on Twisp Town Council and the Twisp Chamber.
Juliet Kennedy
Marketing Director

Juliet runs her own business Rural Valley Life (RVL) doing freelance marketing, photography, videography, web-design and art. She employs her professional and creative skills in this position while also fulfilling her personal goal of connecting more with Twisp and the Methow Valley community.

Her husband Matthew also works in Twisp as an Automotive and Welding Instructor for the MVSD on the TwispWorks campus. Her home is in Mazama on the banks of the Methow River. When she is not in Twisp or enjoying the river, you can find her out on the trails snapping photos with her dog, fishing alpine lakes, and spending nights under the stars in the national forests.

Patrick LAw
TwispWorks Business Liaison

Born and raised in New Hampshire, Patrick attended Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon. He later landed in Seattle, where he helped manage a busy farmers market and food banks.
Patrick began spending more and more time in the Methow Valley with friends until finally becoming a permanent resident in 2017. He is currently working as the TwispWorks Economic Program Director working to support a vibrant Methow Valley economy and small businesses.
Patrick enjoys biking, hiking, reading, swimming, and spending time with his dog.
